Origin of the Dark One

Howard Thompson walked through the streets, his thick tread echoing. He flexed his muscles and popped his knuckles as the sound of a gun being cocked was heard. He turned around, rage apparent on his face. The gunshot slammed into his body with the terrible sound of crunching bones. The man just gestured as he became Shadowcon. The Dark One was a spirit that possessed his body and had terrible power. With a mighty gesture he fell on the man and swallowed his soul. Thus was born the Dark One.

The Dark One stalked through the streets. As he moved, his body displaying unnatural swiftness, he heard a swishing sound.

Turning around, he saw a vampire. As he prepared to launch his supernaturally strong fists, the vampire bowed before him. "Oh, Master and Lord, we bow before you. You are our Messiah, determined to deliver us from the unholy ones of the Cross!"
